David & Ann Hedrick – Wooden Toys & Leatherwork
David & Ann are a husband and wife team working in Alleghany County. David grew up in High Point, NC and Ann is from Idaho. They moved to Alleghany County for the scenic beauty, small town vibe, peacefulness and friendly folks.
Their toys are individually hand crafted and made with a variety of wood. Each toy is designed for durability and finished with child safe shellac. The edges are sanded smooth, with edges and corners rounded to make them safe and comfortable for little fingers. Every item is individually hand-crafted and no two are exactly alike due to the uniqueness of the wood used.
David also makes leather bags and accessories.
