Chris Privette – Woodwork

As the son of a carpentry teacher, Chris grew up in a wood shop, but didn’t develop his love for rustic home wares until much later. After many years of merely amassing piles of unique pieces of wood he’d find near his home, he finally had a vision for home decor and Fish Sticks was born. Now, in his shop when he retrieves from the drying pile a twisted branch or a gnarly root, he never knows exactly how the piece will turn out. He first cleans it, then examines it from all angles until he has an idea. Each piece he makes is unique. All hand-crafted and one-of-a-kind.
