Ed Farr – Photography
Edward Farr is originally from Johnson City, TN where he became interested in photography early in life. As a youth, he spent a lot of time outdoors and began to appreciate nature. This respect for nature inspired him to get a degree in Biology at East Tennessee State University. While in college, he began to work at Mount Mitchell State Park to help pay for his education. There his love of photography began taking on new dimensions as his experiences widened.
After graduating college, he began his 30 year career with North Carolina State Parks. Edward retired in 2011 from State Parks after working in a variety of locations. His last position was Park Superintendent at Stone Mountain State Park in Alleghany and Wilkes Counties.
Edward now resides in Alleghany County and continues to pursue his interest in photography.
