Frances Joines – Acrylics & Enamel
Frances was born and raised in Alleghany County, and was blessed with art surrounding her. She received her art interest from her parents who were both artists and craftsmen. She began reviving her interest in art in the 1980’s by taking every art and craft course that became available from the surround community colleges. She received certificates in ceramics, cake decorating, basketry, tole painting, and decorative painting. In 2000 became certified in the One Stroke method of painting by Donna Dewberry which has become her passion.
