Phyllis Haile – Clay Sculpture & Oils
Phyllis grew up in the Midwest and lives in Roaring Gap. She specializes in sculpture and functional art in clay and original oil paintings. She has a BS degree in Commercial Art from the University of Central Missouri, studied oil portraiture at the Minnesota River School of Fine Art and studied clay arts at John C. Campbell Folk School, Mitchell Community College and the Sawtooth Center for Visual Art.
Phyllis is a Founding Member of the Little River Gallery in Sparta and a current member of the Yadkin Arts Council, the Yadkin Valley Craft Guild, the Winston Salem Crafts Guild and a juried member of the Associated Artists of Winston-Salem.
